Cost of college went up for all students at Oklahoma Baptist University


Tuition and fees rose 5.3 percent for 2018-19 at Oklahoma Baptist University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oklahoma students paid $28,258 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,418 more than the $26,840 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 555 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.8 million and 344 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,011), 1,837 students used grants or scholarships totaling $36.1 million, and 1,150 students took out $7.7 million in federal student loans.
