Census Bureau reports Cherokee population was 1,577 in 2017


Cherokee, Oklahoma had a population of 1,577 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Oklahoma Business Daily.

The median age was 39, with 49.8 percent of the total population being female and 50.2 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 3,896,251.
