Graduates earn 810 degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University


About 18 percent of the 810 degrees and certificates handed out by Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Durant conferred 91 bachelor's degrees and 55 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health technology/technician. Data shows the school gave out 104 bachelor's degrees in occupational safety and health technology/technician, followed by 73 bachelor's degrees in general studies and 63 master's degrees in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical/space engineering.

The university enrolled 4,006 students for 2017-18, including 3,122 in undergraduate programs and 884 in graduate programs.
