Graduates earn 493 degrees, certificates from Mid-America Christian University


About 38.5 percent of the 493 degrees and certificates handed out by Mid-America Christian University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in City conferred 122 bachelor's degrees and 68 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general psychology. Data shows the school gave out 83 bachelor's degrees in general psychology, followed by 68 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 54 associate's degrees in general studies.

The university enrolled 2,093 students for 2017-18, including 1,626 in undergraduate programs and 467 in graduate programs.
